World Trip (Winter 2007/2008)

I knew I had not written here for a year; there were so many things to update. 2007 was a year that I went to New York City the most, part of it because of my crush! which you probably know that it turned out to be a crash instead! I felt it was so special to have a first white boy I really liked and had good chemistry with but life did not always turn out to be your fantasy; I was just good at dealing with that.

nSFO

After a disappointing gay pride in late June (you should go to pride only when you are emotionally single), I decided maybe it’s time to give it a break to go to New York so I went to San Francisco twice, once in August and in September. I met a Danish guy named John from club dragon who I could say I had one of the best sex of my life with! He was super my type and we had great chemistry in bed… too bad I didn’t think he wanted to create a 1.30hr-flight distance romanctic affair with me… huh. Were there any quality guys in Seattle who were not intimidated by a new yorker's directness at all?

001a001b001c

Then, I thought it’s time for me to do a big trip again before going back to Thailand for my brother’s wedding, and I had not been to the new country since 2004. When I looked for a new country to go to, of course Brazil became first on the list. I went to NYC again in September and got a chance to convince Tae and Aaron to go with me. I also went to Honolulu to visit my friend Mark in October and had a great time there. I spent the rest of the fall in Seattle and learned Portuguese a bit.

nGIG

In December, I started my trip from Boston (to see Mr.S). I flew on AA MD-80 on first class from Seattle through ORD to LGA then took a bus to Boston. Mr.S surprised me with a lovely hotel room in downtown with a bottle of white wine on the bed and we went out for a romantic dinner… I remembered we did many more times in 24 hours than my friend who was in the relationship had done in 6 months. What's the point of being in a relationship if life was gonna be that bad! well I had a great time. I spent 2 nights in Boston then took the bus back and spent the afternoon in New York before taking the long flight JFK-GRU-GIG on AA 777-200ER. We stopped in São Paulo where I saw the prototype A380 when it visited South America for the first time. An hour later I arrived in Rio de Janeiro. I spent the whole day alone because Tae’s flight was fucked up by the weather in DC. I was so excited to visit the new continent; we stayed on Ipanema Beach for the first 2 nights then moved to Sheraton in Leblon.

These pics were taken at Copacabana Beach, one of the sexiest beaches of the world.

003a003c

The sun from the south side of the world was really strong; I got burned even before we hit the beach! We did sightseeing for only few hours and that was it! One thing I like about the beaches here is that they are so much like ones in Thailand with coconut trees and tropical fruits everywhere. I ate watermelons all day long! Traveling with these 2 boys made me feel like I had a belly. They both has 6 packs and great body!

005a005b005c

I spent the first 2 days in Rio walking around Copacabana and Ipanema trying to get used to the area. After Aaron and Tae arrived, we went to downtown and saw some old buildings and historical places. The weather had been bad, so we spent a lot of time in the museums. We went to the Museum of Art contemporary in Niteroi, a province on the opposite side of the bay. We had lunch at a hip modern Brazilian restaurant and the food was awesome! On Friday night we went to Le Boy, an old gay club in Copacabana, and I was drunk by only 2 drinks; I had no idea what they put in those drinks….

007a007b

Saturday was a highlight for our trip to Rio; the weather was great and sunny. We went to Corcovado (Cristo Redeemer) first thing, then Pão de Açucar (Sugar Loaf). We saw a great view from both places and I had to say that Rio had one of the most beautiful landscapes in the world! I got sun burned with only few hours (even before we hit the beach). The first beach we went to was Praia Vermelha (Picture on the right) which is a small local one near Sugar Loaf. Then we went to Copacabana and walked to Ipanema. The gay section of Ipanema was phenomenal! It was really happening. There were tons of hot boys there from around the world. This guy in the blue speedo was really to die for! LOL…  and the guy in this white shorts was.... ahaa... yummy... look at his abs!

009a009b

Pics from the gay section of Ipanema Beach! We were the only 3 asian guys on the beach as I noticed. However, given that December was a high season I ran into many circuit party boys I knew of or have seen from Boston and New York.

010a010b10e

We spent the whole afternoon in Ipanema and waited til almost sunset! I did not feel hungry at all because I felt like I was fed by looking at hot guys hehehe.... The view of the sunset from Ipanema beach was really beautiful!

011a011b

008a008b

We had Thai food on Rua farme de Armando and went back to the hotel to prepare for the big night at The Week, a big party that was held in a palace on the north side of the Centro area. There were tons of hot boys there and we danced until dawn!..  I met a hot big muscle Brazilian boy from Belo Horizonte named Paulo (Such a Brazilian name) and had a great memorable party time!

013a013b

These are pictures from the Museum of Art Contemporary in Niteroi designed by Oscar Niemayer, a famous Brazilian architect. We had lunch at a hip restaurant located right under this spacecraft. I had fried shrimp with Brazilian mango sauce and walnut rice. It was awesome! and there were so many eye candies at the restaurant as well.

14a14b14c

Now here are pics from downtown. There were mixed modern architectures and old buildings since the Portuguese were here. I remembered some art and decorations were similar to those I had seen when I went to Lisboa back in May 1998.

15a15b15c

16a16b16c

These arcs (above far right picture) actually had the tram running on the top, I was not sure it was the oldest tram running or not but it must be pretty close. Tae and I were walking through the rain and we got soaking wet! We did experience a lot of things and ran into beautiful arts/old buildings though.

17a17b17c

Above are pictures from "The Week" on Saturday night. The dancer was to die for! Jesus ! look at that paxs! The music was super good too (similar to Alergria party in New York). I forgot who the DJ was. We danced all night and had great fun!

18a18b

Sunday morning, we were heading to São Paulo; Aaron and Tae went all the way to Galeao Airport and I had extra time because I flew out of SDU (Santos Dumont Airport) which located next to downtown. I went up to Corcovado again to take more photos. Flying out of SDU was an impressive experience for me because the airport was so convenient to go to, the terminal was modern and beautiful, and the view when we took off was awesome...arriving at CGH (Congonhas Airport) was also convenient to get to São Paulo. I also had a few hours to explore the streets in São Paulo before the 2 arrived.

nGRU

We spent Sunday afternoon walking around Pualista Ave., the financial district of this mega city, then we explored Liberdade, the Japanese town. São Paulo has the biggest Japanese population outside of Japan, so I was really curious to see how a Japanese town would have the authentic Japanese food that I am crazy about.

22a22b22c

The guy on the left was a TAM's super hot flight attendant I met at Congonhas Airport. The pic in the middle was a street painting in Liberdade (Japanese town). The right pic was Tomie Otake Art Institute building.

19a19b

20a20b

Next day, we checked out the Centro area and went up to see the view at Edif Banespa which has a similar shape to the Empire State Building. The view was very unique!, there are buildings literally in every direction and all the way to infinity! Then we walked around town and ended up at the Copan Building (below) and I went up to see the view from another sight at Edif Italia.

21a21b

On the last day in Brazil I was all alone again; the boys went to the Iguazu waterfall at the border of Argentina, Brazil , and Paraguay. I met my friend Richardo who went to school in Paris in the morning. After that I checked out MASP which is the most famous museum in South America, then lunch at a really authentic Japanese restaurant in Liberdade and went to Instituto Tomie Ohtake. This is the most impressive modern art museum I have ever been to. Tomie Ohtake was a Japanese artist who traveled to Brazil for fun but later fell in love and lived there. Her son was an architect who designed this pink building.

Later that afternoon, I went to Ibirapuera park to check out some more modern architectures and museums. Nearby the park, there’s The Unique Hotel which was another impressive building I saw from the trip; it has a shape of a cut-watermelon with the bar and swimming pool on the top and a stunning beautiful view of the Pualista area.

23a23b

After dinner (I had Japanese again), I went to 269 as Richardo told me; it was a nice, beautiful and clean sauna nearby the hotel I stayed. I met a really hot Brazilian boy who approached me around 9.30PM but didn’t get to enjoy very much because I was so paranoid that I wouldn’t make it to the airport on-time. Afterwards, when I looked at the schedule, it turned out my flight was at 2.30AM of the next day! L

Guarulhos Airport was a fun place to hang out at night with lots of European flights leaving earlier in the night and US flights after that. My AA777-200ER parked just next to the EK777-200ER that flew nonstop GRU-DXB (Dubai). Seven and a half hours later I landed back in Miami

nMIA

24a24b24c

I decided to rent a car and drive around Miami and its surroundings for a day. I got a chance to see those old places from the last visit when I was with my last ex Eddy and was totally in love! I went to Miami Beach, Lincoln Rd, Hollywood Beach, and Ft.Lauderdale. I still continued sunbathing and was super tan back then.

nJFK

The flight from Miami to New York was also something I looked forward to because I hadn’t been on A300B4-600 in a long time, and as I had always heard from many aircraft freaks on airliners.net, it has mechanical reliability problems. We delayed for 3 hours and so I arrived in New York around 12.30 AM. One of the best things about New York is that people there are the most friendly and nicest; I did have some chat with a hot black guy who worked at JFK during the 5 minute- air-train ride to the Jamaica station and kinda got along. By the time I was paying for the air-train ticket, he bought me a LIRR ticket...it was so impressive to have a good-looking stranger buying you stuff and it always happened in New York. We talked all the way to Manhattan and I felt like time passed by so quickly. I could pick up things we had in common: we both were truely New Yorkers who got freaked out when we left the island. I was too shy that I didn’t even ask for his phone number, but well I didn’t even know if he’s gay or not!

25a25b25c

The weekend before Christmas was one of the best times to be in New York. All buildings, squares, shops, stores, are decorated beautifully. People were in the party mode dressing up nicely and came out to party a lot. I did lots of shopping preparing to go back to Thailand.  I bought a new Jil Sander suit, Prada pants, and a lot more. I hung with Effendy and Steve, went to the bars and clubs every night, shopped on Madison Ave., dined at hip restaurants, went to the gym with Nicky … basically just did New York things. Mhu came up from DC to hang on Saturday. As always, I got lucky every night in this town :P

26a26b26c

27a27b27c

The funny thing was that many people in New York thought I went skiing because I was so tan but white around my eyes. The pics above were at dinner at Morimoto, a new Japanese restaurant in Chelsea (nearby my old church Roxy on 10th Ave.). I went there with my date, Jim. The food was great and very pricey! there were so many unique dishes I had not see in other places.

After 5 days back in the States, I took a long flight again this time to the oriental. I was on Japan Airlines B747-400 JFK-NRT; even though it was Economy class but the upper deck seats were really spacious with big storage bins next to the windows. I really did like the Japan Airlines service though. Japanese food during the flight made flying much more pleasant. Thirteen and a half hours after I arrived in the biggest city of the world “Tokyo” on Christmas eve.

Richard my ex roommate from Atlanta was supposed to join me in the Tokyo part of the trip but then he back off last minutes and it was too late to find someone else to go with, so I was just gonna be spontaneous and saw what life was gonna bring me to. As I am very crazy about Japanese food, so I ate it all day 5 meals a day. I kinda knew my way around Tokyo very well this time since I did very good homework when I visited back in 2006

Here are pictures taken from Senso Ji in Asakusa on a sunny winter day! and my favorite store Prada Epicenter in Harajuku on Omote Sando Dori, also known as Fair's fish-tank building (above right).

It was only 16 months since the previous visit to Tokyo, there were lots of new buildings. The first noticeable in Harajuku was the Moma building next to Dior building on Omote Sando Dori. I spent times went into many small trendy stores in Harajuku to check out cool winter cloths but ended up didn’t buy anything because I was so broke from shopping big brand-name stuffs in New York.

31a31b

I went to walk at Ginza at night and went into Tokyo International Forum in Yurakujo. There were so many new shops in Ginza as well including this new Armani building next to white shining box of Dior. I felt really lonely walking alone in a foreign country by myself in a cold weather.

32a32b32c

34a34b34c

That evening I stopped by Pierre Herme Chocalate Patisseries and decided to check it out. It was turely french! The place was super nice and had great atmosphere. I ordered the signature dish of course. All I could think of was "Payard"! (My favourite french patisseries on upper east side in Manhattan).

33a33b33c

That night I went to Arty Fauty, which was the only active gay bar on a Christmas night. Then I met this Israeli guy, Adi,  walked in with his thick lonely planet “Japan” book that put me into a big laugh on him. He dragged me to go to 24 kaikan with so I did and we went to the fish market at 6 in the morning to eat really fresh (just off the boat) sushi there. We went back to sleep for few hours and did sightseeing all day. It was great that I finally have a hot jewish guy to hang out with. We went to Mori art museum in Roppongi Hill and had dinner in Shibuya. It was weird I noticed that since I met this guy the night before, we had not separated and we had a great time together.

35a35b

Next day was the last day in Japan. I went to Akihabara to buy some plane models and went to Senso Ji and Harajuku again. I wanna do as much as possible so I ended up eating lots of street food which were all nice and bento box pre-dinner on Narita-Express.

nBKK

The flight to Bangkok was really exciting! Guess what, it had been almost 4 years since I was in Thailand the last time and this is the first time I went back to Thailand as a single guy. I had not seen my ex, Eddy, since we broke up! And I hate to say this.. that he really DID broke my heart into million pieces. I remembered those days when I fought with my own feelings tried to be strong but finally collapsed and cried in the middle of time square on Valentine day 2005. One of my best friends who called me and told me his new BF was so good looking without caring about my feeling, those were still in my mind. I told myself at the time that I want my ex to die when he saw me the next time and inspired myself to go to the gym and work out regularly for 3 years. Now I’d changed to a different person inside out. Even though I was completely over him and no longer care for him (cuz I already got screwed by someone else), I still felt a little bit inside that I’d like to prove or to make him feel sorry that he chose to leave me….. Oh, I knew I was a little dramatic on that. Ok, so landing in Thailand this time, I wanna look fabulous at all time! LOL… that was what I meant.

The second day, I met my ex for lunch. The food in Bangkok was the best of the best I had to say. Surprisingly, I don’t feel a thing for him. He literally almost did not change at all while I changed a lot. I spent the first few days with my family more. Saturday Eddy got a gym pass for me at the very gay gym in town, so we went there and he has his current BF along. It was pretty awkward to hang with an ex who broke your heart with his new BF. I actually did pretty well as there was a really hot manly big muscle but classy Thai guy flirted with me at the gym. He looked like one of Thai movie stars (Shakris) but I very masculine… hehe. After the gym, we went to have dinner at Vanilla Garden in Ekkamai. Luckily Ed asked other friends to come along to make it less awkward.

37a37b37c

We went to DJ station afterward and I ran into Ned, Mong, Pup, and surprisingly Um and so I hung out with these people for the new year countdown. It was phenomenal that this time I got so much action and attention at the party scene in Bangkok more than other places else. I was really busy going on a date every day. Even some guys I looked at in the past that had never looked at me back, this time, they were all over me. But the countdown this year was definitely could not compare to the year before when I had a handsome boy to kiss with.

After one week in Bangkok, I had fun with food and dating around but somehow felt lonely so I invited Luis, my friend from San Fran to come over and party together. I picked him up at the airport around 12.15 AM and we were dancing at DJ by 1 AM. It was the best party night of the trip though. The weather was a little chilly for Bangkok, so I had a jean jacket on and later took the T-shirt inside off but still keep the jacket on so people can see parts of my chest and abs and it worked, I got the most attention that night! (As you know, I am an attention whore). Here came the white knight of the trip, another handsome Israeli guy showed up. His name was Asaf who was a F/A of El Al airlines. I imagined if I flew on LY and had this guy on my flight it must be the most enjoyable flight, ever. He was very very sexy, super my type, very beautiful smiles, and cute accent. He was about the height that I liked 5’8” and thick muscle. We kissed all night without caring about those hairdressers would gossip behind us. It was such a romantic night. I couldn’t believe how many time we did it too LOL. Luis also got lucky at the same night, he met O who later came to the US and they are kinda dating now.

Next morning I had lunch at a noodle place I used to go on Silom rd. near Silom Complex, and it was such a memorable meal, everything was cheap and so so so good. I had dried egg noodle with crab meat which was my favorite dish ever. I picked Luis and drove home. The next night we went out again and ended up having congee at Sam Yarn it was also a memorable meal as well. I got a chance to see Asaf one more time before he headed back to Tel Aviv.

Sunday night, Martin, a German guy I met a week before came back for a business trip, so we went to have a drink at my favorite place “Vertigo”. The second week of my stay in Bangkok, I went out every nights (literally). Sometimes Luis was not with me I hung out with P’Himm instead. We had a great time, even we hadn’t seen each other in so long but we both were still the same, we just got along.  There were plenty of fun stories to be told from the Bangkok part of the trip but I scared you people would think I was a whore so I rather stop here.

38a38b38c

Luis and I got a chance to do some sightseeing one day, we went to the Old Siam to have variety kinds of Thai desserts and went to Wat Prakaew and Wat Poh afterward. That afternoon we took the boat back to Saparn Tarksin and connected to the BTS sky train to Paragon. It was nice to get to take the boat in Jao Praya River again!

I did party like crazy in Bangkok this time. I went out to Silom Soi 2 for like 9 nights in a row! P'Himm was with me almost every nights. I got to meet some friends from Sydney through him. The nights at DJ were always fun even on the lowest Tuesday night. I got to meet Tien, my staight friend who helped me with a lot of things when he was in Seattle, so I hung out at RCA a bit.

39a39b

40a40b

Almost at the end of the trip, it was my brother’s wedding. Generally Thai people have to please their parents to do the wedding according to how they want, but luckily, my parents and my sister in law's parents were all cool about it so they got to do it their way. Since they were both Ph.D. students in Architectures, they got senses of style and had a really beautiful classy wedding. (unlike many of my friends or relatives that had tacky ones...)

41a41b41c

All of my relatives and friends in my brother’s world that I knew showed up and the couple did a traditional Thai style wedding in the morning and western style party at night. The morning event was held at the traditional Thai house near Chong Nonsri Station.

42a42b

44a44b

The evening party was held across the river from the Grand Palace and Wat Prakeaw. Wat Aarun could also be seen beautifully. I got to meet a lot of people I knew from my first grade teacher to my piano teacher. My violin teacher brought his band to play himself! I had my ex Eddy as my date, it was kinda tragic that my brother was getting married and I brought my ex who broke my heart into billion pieces to be my date. The place was really romantic and beautiful! I was busy helping my brother and my parents taking care of guests. But when I saw romantic beautiful place and time like that, I couldn’t help but thought about one person, the only one I felt special with (even it turned into a crash LOL)

43a43b

45a45b

After the wedding, I flew back to Seattle via Tokyo and San Fran. I got upgraded from the BKK-NRT leg. The service on Japan Airlines was really impressive then it was changed from heaven to hell when I was on United Airlines up to Seattle on leg SFO-SEA.

I only stayed in Seattle for few weeks and there was one Friday after I talked to my advisor and I felt like I was done for the week. I winded up to Luis about how bad the weather in Seattle was, so he said “why don’t you come down here?” so I was like.. OK.. why not. I went home, packed, went to the airport and go. The weather in San Fran was so nice that weekend I had a really good time. Two weeks after I went to New York and I didn’t really enjoy as much as I used to… the weather was bad and it was low season.

nPVG

Few weeks after that, the wait was over, it’s Spring Break. I flew again this time on First class 747-400 United Airlines to Shanghai, China. I went with Luis. The service was good. We had six courses lunch, watched lots of movies, and slept on a total flat bed. Eleven hours after, I found myself stuck in the traffic in mainland China. Next day I had to pick up the garment bag I forgot on the plane and I didn’t wanna waste my sightseeing time so I took the Maglev train which ran at 430 Km/hrs and was the only fastest train in the world running at the time. The travel time was 6 minutes to Shanghai Pudong Airport

47a47b47c

That afternoon I walked around by myself and got to taste a lot of street food. I went to the Bund, west Nanjing Rd., people square, etc. We went to Pinkhom that night and it was so much fun! This city is amazing too, I got actions like crazy!

Saturday night was the night, it was again… phenomenal. I got hit on by many guys at Shanghai studio and I couldn’t decided who to go with… which rarely happened to me (they were all hot) so I went with the Scottish guy I liked the most (He was one of the most handsome guy I ever went with!) then came back to do Baltimore and New York guy later.. LOL

46a46b

46c46d

Sunday afternoon, we went to had drinks at the bar on the top of Jin-Mao Tower, known as the highest hotel of the world. Finally, I had my greygoose martini on this trip. The view was awesome!

nPEK

Next day I was off to Beijing by myself. I flew out of Hongqiao Airport on Air China B777-200. It was an impressive flight. They served congee with salty duck egg and fruit salad on the flight on Economy class. The flight was only an hour and a half.

I went to Tienanmein Sq., Forbidden City and walk around town all day. I felt like it was more difficult in Beijing than in Shanghai to get around and take a cab. The names in Chinese are all so long and hard to pronounce. The streets are so huge and hard to cross.

I stayed in the youth hostel here and got to meet a lot of cool people that love to travel from around the globe. The guy in my room was from Manchester that took a year off to travel around the world. He was about to take the train from Beijing to Ulaan Bator and all the way to Moscow, that was impressive

48a48b

Next day, I was off to the great wall and got to spent sometimes with this guy I don’t even remember his name. He was from Winnepeg but lived in Kuwait. He was so much my type! It was really romantic to get to spend sometimes alone with just this hot Canadian boy! It really made my time there very memorable. However, the great wall was really impressive!

49a49b49c

Soon after I came back to Beijing, I went to the temple of heaven. The temple was so beautiful and calm. I thought I supposed to ask for something. What should I ask??

50a50b

50c50d

50e50f

Getting around in Beijing seemed harder for a person that can not speak Chinese compare to Shanghai. I spent the rest of the day laying low, watch movie and rest at the hostel. I was so tired from the long walk and some climbing at the great wall.

The next day I got a chance to try the new terminal 3 at Beijing Capital Airport as a first day of operation! It was the biggest airport terminal of the world! It was huge. I was so excited and spent quite a long time walk around. I flew on Business class on the way back (also on UA 747-400) but the service was awful this time. I gotta watch my favorite movie "Enchanted" on the way back. And the scene http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yaHfpPrg6cI was super romantic... Oh....

nMEX

I was very stressful with work for the whole April that left me no time for preparing the Mexico City trip. I always wanted to visit this mega city that was even bigger than São Paulo and New York City wanna see how it is like. The second Thursday of May, I flew first class on AA MD-80 through Dallas/Ft.Worth to Mexico. I think the first class service on American Airlines was better than United: the settings, food, flight attendant, attentiveness, etc. After I finished few problems on Network Dynamic System class homework, we landed in the thunderstorm. I stayed right in the gay street Amberes in Zona Rosa with my friend Sean and Xing. We checked out bars in the neighborhood and found that there was not many people with other races other than Mexican at all. There were no white guy, asian guy or even black. Xing and I were the only asian and Sean and very few other guys were the only white. Then I heard the song "Toca me" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5xpXfbtfP1A) for the first time. I was not so sure I have heard from New York before. It was such a great song. I think I like this version more than "Toca Miracle" or "We belong togehter" versions.

Next day, we went to check out all the main spots in town: Catedral Metropolitana, Palacio Nacional, Templo Mayor, then lunched at the top of the building across from the palace. Mexican food was awesome and spicy.. (at least I can handle it for few days I guess) We then walked over to Palacio de Bellas Artes and had desserts on the top of the highest building in the area (below middle)

52a52b52c

Next day, we spent half of the day in Museo Nacional de Antropologia (above right) and did shopping on the rest. We partied every nights but it turned out that I was not so impressed. There were not many big places to go to. Sunday we went on a trip out of town to Teotihuacan to see the Pyramid of the moon and Pyramid of the sun. At the end of the trip, I finished my late-homework. On the way back, we flew on United through Washington Dulles. That was pretty crazy! and Dulles was one of the worst place to connect in the afternoon.

Later that month I went down to San Fran for Memorial day weekend. I gotta spent time with my lovely friend Tim and know his group of friends. Overall I did not enjoy very much and ran into couple of flaky people. It made me miss New York more and more..... until.. a week after that the movie "Sex and the City" came out. Well it was not like the series but I still liked it.. it made me tell myself "well it's time to go back there!"

nJFK

Since I made a commitment to myself to go back "home" as soon as possible before I died of "out-of-manhattan sick" (a polite way to say "west coast sick"), I went to the airport a week earlier on my Toronto trip to ask if I could change the ticket just the section to New York to a week earlier. I talked my way through it and ended up pay nothing for the whole trip (since it was an award ticket at the first place). My professor was off to Europe the whole week so it was the perfect time to leave town. This time I did CO B737-800 nonstop to Newark. I was surprised that Continental was the only airlines left in the US that still serve food on the tran-con flight (I didnt fly CO as often anymore). Later that afternoon I did some shopping with Nicky and Brian around Chelsea and drinks at G. The whole night was fun; started from dinner in East Village, then G, Splash, and finished with congee in China Town. I ran into many friends that night including Patrick that just move back from Chicago.

Sunday I was off to Boston, well, to see my boy... Mr.S (apparently I couldnt seem to have enough of him yet). The chemistry's never been better! it seemed like that was it? well he was a crash not a crush.. hehe. I felt really myself getting back to the Northeastern this time; I could say "the food was terrible" when Mr.S asked me at lunch; I could say "fuck" many times a day without someone felt offended and thought it was impolite. I was so glad to be away from the land of inefficient. I really didnt wanna stay in Boston too long so I came back down to New York after 2 nights. I had few dates here and there.

Wednesday, Fu came up from Atlanta to attend a class at Columbia and we spent the whole afternoon together. I had not seen her since December 2005. I remembered one moment that day when we sat down to rest and chat over the Washington Sq. Park, she said she was so happy to get to sit and relax talking to a friend that she can trust. I was amazed that as time passed by, my friends were all over the world again and I didnt have many friends in the same city anymore. That sucked.

The trip to Toronto was really unexpectedly amazing! I had a blast! partly because I went without any expectation! I had chatted with few people online before I went just to get a sense of how people there would be like. Turned out I met many conservative people which really surprised me as I thought Canada would be so liberal. However, once I got there the tide was changing. I only visited Toronto the first time so I really could not say much about it though. I met many new friends there more than I had had in Seattle over a year. Lots of new friends I made had boyfriends but they were very easygoing. They did not have to stick with their boyfriends all the time showing prosession when they went out and hung with other people. They all worked out, looked good, and liked to social with other people unlike in Seattle where boys said "I am not very social" as a trend and thought that it was so cool to say so. Boys in Seattle were really un-social and if you didnt like to ski/snowboard/hike/camp but like to go to bars/clubs, then they thought you were not a good boy. I still remembered chatting with a guy in Seattle a week before I left and he said "I am not sure my boyfriend would allow me to .... ". That was so stupid! Why did you have to have your boyfriend allow you to do something! Jesus! These people I met in Toronto were more independent, ambitious, and look great! I only know them shortly, I probably could not say much but at least they did not say somthing stupid since the first 5 minutes of knowing each other. Actually many friends in New York were like that too but I was glad I met a new group of friend in another city.

I left New York on Thursday morning. From the hotel in Upper West Side on 72nd, Fu went to La Guadia and I went to Newark. I flew on Dash-8-300 on CO and it was only an hour flight. This was the first time I was on a propeller aircraft since 2001 when I took ATR-72 inside Myanmar. It was funny I saw many gay people at Pearson Airport once I arrived. I stayed with my canadian friend Scott whom I met in Seattle but his boyfriend was still living in Toronto. The apartment was in the center of gay village. First night we went to Madonnarama at Fly. I met a Thai guy named "Top" (who knows, maybe he is a bottom) and his Canadian boyfriend Daril whom both lived in Bangkok but were just visiting. I recognised his face from DJ station!.. funny! We made friend very quickly! That night I check out Steamworks and was amazed by how many hot guys showing up there. Alright, we can skip the detail here. I could just said it was a very memorable experience!

54a54b54c

Friday I spent sometimes at the gym with Scott and Ivan. I met Ivan's Brazillian friend 'Fernando' who was very hot! We had nice dinner and went to Bootcamp at Koolhaus. Dj Hector from New York spinned that night. My friends from New York Robert and Tres were there as well. I got to meet many new friends that night. Then I met this guy with the same name as Mr.S; clearly my type!.. ah... architect..umm.. and.. had a boyfriend.. Oh! hehehe. I went to Steamworks again that night and was very satisfied. I met my top favorite the pornstar "Luke Garrett" there and my compliment to him was "I am a big fan and jerked off to you more than 100 times". I thought that was a great comment.

Saturday I woke up with a new friend inside the house. He was a cambodian guy who look like chinese, Tony (in the blue speedo). He asked me to go to another tea-dance party "Aqua" with him and so I did... and  I had a blast! The place was located a bit west of downtown next to lake Ontario. There were so many many hot guys with nothing but swimsuit. Ok, here are the pics:

Tony found a guy who has the same swimwear as him... and the guy was so hot! Look at that ass! I saw the architect again and felt I was really attracted to him. I made friend with his boyfriend who was also very hot. I mostly hung out with Tony and he introduced me to his friend Kris who, again, already had a boyfriend, but very sexy. In my opinion, the cutest swimwear of the day was the one on this guy below with colorful sunflowers all over his ass. He was so yummy!.. and blonde! Tony and I made friend very quickly and we had dinner that night. We had lots of thing in common: talked about Philosophy, cultures, etc.

Later that night I went to Babylon at a very huge club I forgot the name. The size of the place was like.. bigger than Roxy or Crobar or any places in New York. At the end of the huge dance floor I thought it was a mirror but it was not! it was another huge dance floor all the way to the back full of hot men! There was a big patio outside that was full of people also. We could see the view of the whole downtown Toronto... well the size of downtown looked even smaller than Chicago though. The CN tower was lighten up in a rainbow color for Pride. Tony Moran spinned that night. I saw many friends there but... somehow could not find the architect!. I decided to go back with P'Top and Daril who stayed in a nice house east of downtown. They were a very cute couple... someone I loved to hang around with, liberal, no bullshit. They took care of me super well (made me pancake) considering we just knew each other and was not their lover.

Next morning we got back into town to see the parade on Yonge st. From what I saw I think the parade in New York was bigger. However Toronto had Church St. that was closed for gay activities; that was great. My favorite pornstar "Luke Garrett" was on the parade of course (below left). There were so many gay people dress crazily on Church St. and many straight people came to participate as well. The guys on the pic below right was so so so sexy!... I guessed they were from Detroit.

Tony came to join me a bit later that afternoon, then I got ready for a big night. Everybody was going! The party was held at the club "Government". I went with Scott and a bunch of his friends. The place was super big; there were 2 dance floors and patio. Again, full of hot boys! I was hoping to see my architect since we talked we wanted to dance together. I hung out with Robert and Tres ar first and made friend with many other people. The guy in the pictures below (left and middle) was the most gorgeous sexiest guy of the night (in my opinion): blonde and defined big muscle! really something I would die for! A while after seeing this hottie, I saw my architect.. then my favorite song at the time came up http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5xpXfbtfP1A (the Toca miracle version http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ufBHS2LrM6k&feature=PlayList&p=1FC6AB75D129D53B&index=13) After a whole hour of being in a hot dance floor, right at my song!, the spray of air/fog came up all over the place and was super cold! You could not see anything but a person stayed a foot away from you. They played the lasers and lights with it... it was just super super amazing! At the same time I was so so high. I did "e" for the first time after 2 years and was pretty sensitive. The one I got was super good!

I could say that that night was the one of the best party times of my life. (The other comparable times were gay pride 2006 that I kissed a Singapore guy all night and the night at Fire in London, UK) The music was great. I was so high and had an attractive architect to dance with all night. It was amazing! I always loved it when I have lots of closed friends around and partied together. This time I only had 4 guys I knew before I came to Toronto but I connected with these new friends pretty easily and they were all friendly. People tried to make conversation with me more than just "my name is.. bla bla bla..  and have a great night" They did not only stick with a group of friends they came with but opened to knowing new people. I thought that was great. At around 4 am, I took another half and because it was so hot, at one point, I took the shorts off and left only the Ginch Gonch underwear on... hehe

61a61b

Well, we danced until 8 am and went out to the patio and saw a bunch of hot boys! wow Look at these boys! (pics above) How come there were so many of them! Young, blonde, smooth, muscular, and handsome! I felt like I was in heaven walking through these hot boys! Were they all canadian?? if that was true I was ready to move to Toronto! hahaha I had a great time and didnt want the night to end. We stayed until the light was up and the architect drove me home. Thanks to him to make that night the most amazing and memorable night of the trip!

Winter 2006/2007

This winter has been really busy. I have not had time to write and post photos here for 6 months! There were lots of things going on though.... (including meeting a new special one.. aha! who is he? Let's find out!) I started to work part-time up to 4 days a week; this left me no time to even jack off. It was so hard, but I still made it happen: the first vacation for the winter. I didn't think that the last 2 times I went to London I had seen enough of the party scene. I hadn't been back to Europe for 2 years, so I planned my 2.5-week break in London, Venice, and Milan for 11 days and back to my hometown NewYork for a week.. so that was the plan! As soon as my mom knew I would be there seeing my brother on his graduation day in Sheffield, she decided to come join us.

010203_1

I met my straight ex-roommate, Oct, who joined me at JFK for the trip, and we boarded AA B777-200 on a red-eye flight to LHR. It took us an hour to taxi as usual at JFK during rush hour. The next morning, we walked around West End tourist spots in London, which was quite boring to me. I spent the next day in Sheffield with my mom and my brother for his graduation ceremony... was kinda boring to me again...  The day after, Oct and I flew of from Gatwick to Venice on a B 737-400 of BA.  It was nice to fly on BA again, nice airlines and services.. Now that was exciting! I had not been back to Italy for 11 years! We took the boat from the airport to the hotel near San Marco and had Italian food.. awesome!

040507

Venice is still one of my most favourite cities in Europe. It's beautiful in every direction and dimension. We just couldn't stop taking pictures, but I really wish I had someone special to bring to such a romantic place like this. We had wine with every meal here.. did European things.

048-Venice049-Venice

055-Venice at night034-San Marco

Next day, we spent most of our day in Venice and jumped into the train to Milan in the evening. We went to dine in the Duomo area and went out to gay bars. Oct did not wanna stay in the gay bar with me, so we moved to the str8 bars... it was kinda hard communicating with people here cuz nobody seemed to speak English! I got a chance to do some shopping of brandname stuff in many unique stores. I bought Prada sunglasses in the old Prada store. It was just a little bit cheaper than in NewYork.

080910

Our trip back to London was quite frustrating. Because of the bad weather over the South of England, our flight to London City was cancelled, and we had to change to the one to Heathrow. The plane was 1.30 hours late, which gave me some time to wander around Malpensa Airport. When we got into the plane, they announced that we would be on the ground for 45 minutes; after that they announced again that it would be even more.... finally we left Milan around 4 PM. An hour and a half after I found our A320 circling around Heathrow for 8 loops, and we got to land by the autopilot system! Thanks to control engineering that brought us to the ground safely!

After I had dinner with my mom, my brother, his gf, and Oct, I went to explore gay nightlife by myself. I went to Box bar in Covent Garden. The night in SoHo/Covent Garden seemed really exciting with all the cool hip restaurants and nice decorated bars. Box Bar was really impressive to me. All the guys there were so my type, really really big muscles with cleancut looks. Not too much like typical English boyz. Drinks were so expensive, too. Surprisingly, I got to meet another Falcon pornstar there; he was peeing next to me, and his dick was.... OMG. I also went to Edge and few more places before heading to Vauxhall Village. There was one club I went to whose name I can't recall  where a drag queen was singing "I have Nothing" of Whitney Houston, and a few couples were holding each other romantically, and I felt soooo lonely!... Oh Jesus I hate that feeling..... I ended the night with a huge circuit party dance club "Fire". I could not believe how great the music was! It was so so so my style. The place was equivalent to John Blair Saturday party in NewYork. I had a really good time. People were so liberal, and many of them did drugs and smoked pot even on the streets!

And finally, here comes the most romantic time of this Europe trip: I came out around 5 AM, and there were lots of illegal taxi drivers waiting for customers. Well...everything in London was like twice or tripple the price of US dollars...so hell no, I would just take the bus home.... and there appeared this big muscle sexy Russian taxi driver coming to me and asking where would I go... and Oh!.. I just couldn't resist. I was scared a little bit since it was not really a taxi, but I had a second thought.  The one who should feel scared was him since he knew that was a gay club, and he was so hot! I got into the car, and I remembered every minute of it! we were looking at each other eye to eye. His hand almost touched mine We drove passed the Victoria Station, and I learned that he was from St.Petersburg, Russia and was struggling in London. We talked about many many things just like we were going on a date. It was so so romantic that I felt like I wanted to go home with him so badly! When he dropped me off at Paddington, we kept looking at each other as he was driving away. I am feeling angry as I am writing this regretting why didnt I make a move and go home with him. Well it is in my memory!

501502513

Next day, I broke my news about the Russian to my mom and Oct, and we went to Nothing Hill for shopping, then Tower Bridge, and I took them to have a Japanese lunch set at Sakura near Oxford Circus.

118-Covent Garden119-Covent Garden

We spent the afternoon shopping in Covent Garden. It was one of the fabulous days for me.... living in London and doing some gay fashionable shopping. After that Oct and I took off to have drinks at "Long Bar" at the Sanderson Hotel. It was a really hip hotel which always ended up in the Architecture book.  I think it was not that impressive comparing to many hotels in Thailand or NewYork. The bar was nice and very pricey. I couldn't believe it.. the champagne was like 300 pounds... $600 a bottle!

121-Long Bar122-Long Bar

123-Long Bar125-Long Bar

We had really cool authentic Indian food near Tottenham Courtroad, and then I was off for gay parties again. This night I had a Taiwanese guy from San Fran hitting on me; he was so hot, but I ended up taking the bus home..I went home about 7AM and woke up at 8.30... That was kinda fucked up.. but I wanted to spend lots of time with my mom. We went to the British Museum, London Eye, and had lunch near Piccadally Circus. We drove to Brigton to my mom's friends for X mas dinner.

108-Tower Bridge1112

On christmas day, my brother drove me up to Fulham Broadway to pick up Oct and headed to Heathrow. We had 4 hours of Shopping in terminal 3. As soon as we arrived the gate, I felt like we were in  NewYork already since I saw a few Jewish guys there in black coats with mustaches.  Seven hours later, Tien picked me up from JFK. We went to have congee in Chinatown right away. I felt like everything was so cheap comparing to London. Two days later, Budi (Lee) my old friend from Atlanta came over and stayed with me at Nicky's apartment. It was so nice of Nicky to let us stay there again! Chris picked Lee from the airport, and we headed to do some shopping in SoHo. I took everybody fow some drinks at Kittichai which was the hip Thai restaurant in Thomson hotel. We went out every night as usual, and I always got lucky.. well I was single after all... needed to enjoy life!

131415

Friday, as usual... we all went to G and then the Web... I got actions at every places that I went to. God bless America!... why didn't I get this much in London and Italy! hehe.. I was an attention whore, I guess. I see hundreds of guys who I knew at the Web, and I was drunky drunk drunk!  On Saturday, Lee disappeared from my life....so I was mostly alone, and I was kinda sad... I wanted to try the new hip downtown Japanese restaurant Mego, but no one went with me, so I would just treat myself. (Well wasn't the trip treating myself enough?) I had the Kobe Steak; it came over the rock..., shrimp appetizer, and sake,... kinda nice. It was $97 for just my meal! The decoration inside the restaurant was really cool.

676678

That night I went to Roxy with Nicky and Brian. It was kinda packed as usual. Everybody was there. I mostly hung out at Chinatown. I met Bert on the way in; he came with a Singapore Airlines flight attendant who was extreamly hot. The guy seemed to be interested in me at first; we were standing and talking for a long time, and after awhile I felt like he was no longer interested.... too bad.. I thought he was really hot! A bit after that I was dancing with a bunch of friends and was still pissed that the Singapore guy ignored me and all of a sudden... I saw a couple of Italian eyes staring at me. It was Mr.S! The eyes sparked...Ohh... just kidding! I was not quite into Italian guys, but I think this guy was hot. He was dancing with a bunch of white friends, so I thought he would not like me, an Asian boy.  Minutes after that I found myself dancing with him. He tried to escape from me a couple of times by saying he had to find his friends... I couldn't careless!... I didn't wanna stay with someone who were not that into me. However, he finally found me, and Nicky was very nice to let me bring someone home. I could say it was my record of how much I came in 24 hours. I was jacking off 2 times before I went out..........OMG and this guy!.. I cant believe it. By the time we walked out, and I saw him putting his coat on, I started to realize that I liked him more!... He could be a Roxy guy/a party boy in the club, but he looked sophisicated outside the club! Unlike those circuit boys who were mostly bullshit about their lives. I learned more about him when we were in the cab. He was from Boston and finishing MBA and looking for a job. Even after knowing him for a few hours, I found myself thinking that he was a potential candidate.

161718

Next morning, Mr.S initiated the DimSum lunch in Chinatown with his friends. I was kinda there along for the ride. Nobody knew the place, so I took them to Golden Unicorn on E Broadway. I got to know one of his Thai friends and I learned from him that Mr.S was really a big player and also a rice queen (sorry to Mr.S to use this word to you). Well I kinda knew that, and I was not gonna fall for that shit! I was the most cynical guy after all. Mr.S was kinda undecisive about the count down plan, so I was off to meet my old college straight friend, Por and would go to the house party with Nicky and Brian. Mr.S finally went with me.

The party took place at Nae's apartment on 38th St nearby my old apartment when I lived in NewYork. I knew half of the people there. I mostly was just shitchatting, and so was  Mr.S. I was talking to many new guys and flirting with them; I kinda saw that Mr.S was looking and acting a little jealous. I knew he was just acting for fun, but I was acting for fun too; it's fun to flirt with people. He was flirting too, and we were kinda looking at each other... I liked that. When the count down came along, he found me and kissed me. For the record, it was the most memorable count down I ever had... to have an attractive guy to kiss with on a special night. Mr.S wanted to go with me again that night, but we didn't really have a place :( I had to let the romance stop there. Well I was hoping to get o meet him again

687692

Two days after that I flew back to Seattle to face with the real life: credit card bills and to realize I was just a PhD student with 3 other jobs! I needed to make it work. I tried to keep in touch with Mr.S, but he was not very good at it I guess. I didnt really expect anything though even I felt he was kinda special for me. Well I just happened to like a player, someone who knows how to be romantic. To be honest, my cynical side told me that most people fake it; I knew he faked some of it too.. let's just hope it's not all... hehe

Since I came back this time I felt the drama at JaiThai (one of the restaurant jobs I was working part time at) was excessive: jealousy etc... There was one bitch trying to pick up on small things I did wrong! when I already worked there for forever! I was a bit elegant to them..yeah.. ! but come on! My friends were aerospace engineers who would work for NASA and landed on the moon , but those people would just look at the planes and didnt even know how they can fly! They were gonna be waiters for the rest of their lives!.. Anyway after I quited the job, I used the first free weekend to go to my city, NewYork. And of course the other reason was to see Mr.S again.

I did a red-eye flight through Detroit this time. I did the fabulous Friday evening as usual, fabulous dinner at a Greek place in east village with Nicky, Sai, Tri and his BF,Hayato etc. Sai and I  went back to Hayato's place in Gramercy park and then moved to G and the Web. Mr.S showed up, and I really couldnt wait to kiss his lips again! He was trying to take me to a dark corner and make out but that was just an idea.... I was grabbed by guys along the way....not that I was that popular.. but I had a bunch of friends in NYC hehe Mr.S introduced me to his hot Singporian friend that gave him a ride to NewYork this time. The next thing I knew, his friend was kissing me. And I saw Mr.S kissing someone else too.. well it was all kinda a mess I guess.. Next day we spent almost all day on the road and Mr.S surprised me by booking the hotel in TimeSq. I was impressed. There was one moment after we got into the hotel that was really unforgettable, and I knew he may not even remember it, but I rather not say it here....  :P  (eventhough I knew Mr.S might not use his precious time to read my blog hehe)

IMG_5236temp

The next day I wanted to have a Valentine's dinner with Mr.S, but that was just an idea too. He had friends he had to see even though he could see them at other times. I didnt really have any expectations... I took them to Kittichai, the hip downtown Thai restaurant in SoHo. The food was great; we got the real authentic taste, and creative recipes and styles. The fried fish came like the ones in Bangkok with the head and everything.... I almost used my hands. The atmosphere was fabulous! too bad it was not just the 2 of us.. :(

After I came back from NewYork this time, I was a bit unaggressive about finding a new advisor at school. My current advisor at the time was about the leave the school, and so I had funding problems again and had no one supporting me! I was so stressed and under pressure for a while 'til one day Mr.S said he would come visit me. That was surprising, and I was excited. It was a spring break week. We gotta chance to have dinner at "Canlis", a fine cousine in town which costed me a fortune to eat and see the fabulous view of Lake Union in the heart of Seattle. I gotta have Mr.S meet Anh Thu (my closest friends in Seattle), Alfred, Nathan, the girls etc. Everybody except Anh Thu were so inexperienced that they thought he was serious with me, but I really did have a good time with Mr.S though. I always thought he was a player, and after his visit I still thought the same way... hehe. It was just sometimes when someone you like do something you like very much, even you know it was fake or just acting, you still like it anyway. I had to admit at the time that I had changed my course in life again, stopped being extremely cynical, and admited that I was just a human who was weak and had all the needs as everyone else.  I would be a victim to the same disease again! I started thinking like Carrie again "If you could find someone to love the you you love, well that's just fabulous!". I will look for that!

In July, I went to the roll out of Boeing 787 in Everett. I felt really excited to be there since we have the new commercial aircraft came out only once every 10-15 years!

LA and Japan July/august 2006

As I always wanted to go to Japan again especially Tokyo since it's the best city for modern architecture and also the best food. I couldn't imagin about having Japanese for every meals over all 7 days. I haven't seen Mhu for 7 months so I decided to make a stop in LA since she now got a job in Newport beach for months and I invited Alfred to go with me. It was the first time Alfred and I got to fly together: nonstop from Sea/Tac to LAX by UA 757-200. The weather was nice that we saw Mt Rainair, Mt Saint Halen, Mt.Hood and all over to San Francisco.. and finally to Lax. I just got a bad new right before the trip that the funding I was supposed to have at school had been cut...  I was so worried.. but what could I do, I already paid to go on a trip to be happy so I had to be happy..

Soon after we arrived, Alfred and I went to check out downtown and the walt disney concert hall. After that we went to check in and met Mhu at the nice restaurant where they film one episode in sex and the city when 4 gals came to LA. The chiago-boy waiter was so cute that we left him a big tip!..over 50% hehe

Later that night, we all went to Abbey and Asian night at Rage in the west Hollywood area. As I never liked LA and never gonna like it, I really felt everything was the same.... people are fake and so pretentious. No one every hit on each other. There was no such a thing that happened in new york there... noone came up to me and ask for a three sum... I was kindna prepared for that. We met Ned that night with his friends, and he never look sexier.. :P

Alfred left us for disneyland early Saturday and we had lunch with Ned. I spent the rest of the day shopping and party at night. Unlike new york, no luck had ever come if it's not online. The next day Mhu agree to go to Long Beach with me to see the famous "Queen Mary". As I am a huge fan of the ocean liners, it's a big things for me.

The ship was huge! and we first got in into the Prominade deck, all the decoration inside had changed from the original one becuase it is a floating hotel and museum now. So the interior was not quite impressive. We took a walk over the stern section, the sun deck, the bridge, and the bow section! It was all cool, I really wanna go back to 50's and take this ship crossing the ocean!

That night I stayed with Ned,(an ex of my ex) and I could hardly resist myself from doing in bed with him.. hehehe he's so so cute... but I knew I wasnt his type and there were something so different between us. Anyway he was so nice to drop me at Lax. I was on ERJ-145 to SJC and 777-200ER to NRT. 10hrs after that, i found myself at the train station under terminal one of Narita Airport. I took the Narita Express for only 1 hr to Shinjuku station. I was jetlaging but excited as well to travel abroad again after 2 years. Fair's flight laded at 9PM so I figured she gonna be in around midnight. I had 2 dinners to fulfill my needs for Japanese food that day and to stay up as late to wait for Fair. The first one was just a small place round the coner near Isetan in Shinjuku. I was so amazed that there were no english sign. Majoy stuff I found in small places are Katsudon, variation of Soba and cold soba. I had to press the button to get the ticket outside and give it to the chef inside, I had a trouble getting a ticket cuz I couldnt read it! The first dinner was Katsudon, the second was Ramen. Fair came in at 11.45PM and we went out for another supper near the hotel (which also a small block from gay bars) We started to experience the difficulties communicating, they just dont know english at all and we did sign language. The good thing is people there are nice and there are no thief or people cheating on you.

Next morning, we had breakfast at an underground place near Shinjuku station, we paid only Y700 per person to get the whole set of fish, soup, salad, rice, and fruit!.. fabulous! Then we took Chuo line to Yurakujo to see the Tokyo international Forum. It was real modern and had a shape of the boat, known as the biggest un-used space.

After that, we went to walk in Ginza area, lunch, and then Roppongi Hill... We went up to see the Mori modern art museum at the top of the mori sky building. We can see the 360 view of Tokyo.. out to Odaiba and Haneda Airport!.. it's very nice... The theme of the museum was the same as MoMa in New York. And of course, MoMa was designed by a Japanese architect. We spent quite sometimes in the museum and then went to check out the area. There were tons of nice store and restaurants in the hill...

There was a Louis Vuitton store on Roppongi Hill which was really nice designed. On the way under the subway to Harajuku, we saw one lady on the train  with a hideous dress like from the 5 decades ago.. and Fair made fun of her as she was dropping out from a fossil!.. it was so funny.. as I thought about it again.. hehe

As we get off the station "Omote Sando" in Aoyama (next to Harajuku area). Omote Sando Dori is the name of the big shopping-walking street in the area. The station located on the intersection of Omote Sando and Aoyama Dori. First, I looked for the Prada Epicenter store.. as it was a "must see architecture". Since I go to Prada Epicenter in SoHo in new york regularly, and also just went to the one in LA, so I had to see this one and wow! it was really impressive! Fair made fun of it as a "fish tank" building.. hehehe... I wore Prada suit along with Jil Sander white shirt, Diesel sunglasses and watch, HugoBoss shoes, they cost total $3200 on my dress. Resembling a huge green crystal, this 2003 fashoin store look stunning at dusk, when the bubble glass is lit from within. Herzog & De meuson (creators of London's Tate modern Museum) were responsible. There were a lot of interesting stores nearby that we spent a quite sometimes over Issay Miyaki, Miu Miu, Catier, etc. They all come with a nice package.... you know, nice architecture outside and inside.

We took a walk along Omote Sando which is equivalent to Champs Elysee in Paris or 5th Ave. in New York. The Louis Vuitton and Dior on the street was very modern designed too. After having a really real Raman for dinner, Fair got to charge her battery, a.k.a. shopping around Harajuku area. People there dressed like crazy! like Lady Mamalaid Then we went back to Ginza to check out the nice architectures at night. Maison Hermes, Dior, and Louis Vuitton has a beautiful lights at night as in pics below (respectively):

After going back to home, Fair was kindna crash, but I still in charged, and I went to check out 24 Kaikan just 3 minutes walk from the hotel... I didn't get anything lucky or found anybody attractive but see how the bath house in Japan was like. There are nice food and nice package everywhere even in the bath house and also the hot tub! (in Japanese style). People seems to come here a lot more than going to the bars and clubs since the culture of Japan, gay is quite in the closet. People are so shy, they mostly had sex in the dark room which I hate. One person would lay on the bed and people could come check them out while they slept and if someone interested, they just woke them up and start something. Many people came to me, but I just couldn't, they are not my type. I stayed and slept until 4 AM when it was dawn. I continued sleeping at the hotel until 9AM. The next day we took Shinkansen out from Tokyo station to Osaka. It took total  three hours and 5 minutes only. We were both so excited about the lunch box and all the nice food/package everywhere in the station, every station and everywhere up to the platform!.... the cans and bottles are all so cute.. there even people selling stuff every now and then in the car too... fabulous!

We stayed in the Umeda area, the Hearton hotel was very nice, convenient, and cheap. the picture above was the view from our room. We decided to go to Umeda Sky Building first since it's there.. The building was like the Japanese version of Grand Arch La Defense in Paris... We can see the view all around Kansai area bay from the observation deck on 51 floor. The Itami airport was not so far away that I saw airplanes landed all those time.

After that, we went to Osaka-Jo.. it took a while to walk into the castle. We ran into one Shiba (Japanese dog) near Osaka history museum. It was so cute. We went to dine in Shinsaibashi area where there are tons of restaurnats... We ended up having a Shabu Shabu and Yakiniku in the same meal. There wes pot in the middle where the grill stuff was on the side of the pot... it was one of the nicest meals in this trip.. and cost only $20 per person with no tip!.... it's the best... After dinner, we took a walk in the area and saw a lot of nice restaurants but too bad, we were already fulled. After we get back to the Umeda area, I still ate supper that night because I ran into a nice ramen place on the way back to the hotel!.. Oh Osaka is really the best for food! Nice and cheap!

The next day was Friday, and of course we had to go back to Tokyo to do the night.. bars and clubs thing. We had a really nice cold soba at the Osaka Station and then took the Shinkansen back to Tokyo. The Listel hotel in Tokyo this time is also in Shinjuku but a bit further from the station. The room was nice but the location was kindna kill me! That after noon, Fair was tired and so I went out to do some shopping and check out all the shopping store in the shinjuku area. I think I like shinjuku. Later that day I took Fair to the top 5 stars hotel "Park Hyatt Shinjuku Hotel". We was supposed to go up to the highest top "New York Bar" which was featured in the movie "Lost in Translation", but the bar was closed for the renovation, so we went up to another bar which was not at te highest but high enough!.. I guessed it was just 43rd floor or sth. The Building composed with 3 square small buildings with different heights. Each has a crown on the top which was where we was going to. The building is one of the landmark in the Shinjuki area. The View was soooo beautiful!! and the place was real romantic! Since I was trying to save the money, so we only had one drink... Y1700 per martini and from what  I remember, the same for Chadonney.

The view in the picture above was the east side where we can see all the Shinjuku Metro area: the station, the shopping district, and the walking street where there were tons of restaurants.  The Building on the right looked like Empire state building (but much shorter hehe) the background was the center of tokyo. The picture in the bottom was the view from the north side. We saw the Tokyo Materpolitan Building right in front of us! It was no.1 landmark of the area. If the weather was nice, we could even see the Mt. Fuji from the building. Awesome!

There were no heavy thing served at this place, just some light stuffs that goes well with the cocktails. Hence, we decided to go to Shibuya for the dinner. The crossing street in front of Shibuya Station was fabulous!.. tons of people were there... I guess there were more than Million people crossing each day. We did some shopping and find a place to eat. But I think losts of place are for tourist and many places are for foreigners and not so authantic Japanese. There were a lot of bars with lots of white people in it. Finally we get to eat Yakitori, and it was awesome! Later that night after we went back to the hotel I went out to chek the gay area and was kindna lonely at first. After a while I got to talk with a hot Korean guy who once lived in East village in Manhattan. Then after that we start to talk with many people, mostly from the US, since I cant speak Japanese. Then I met this hottest guy who goes to Haward Law school and was in Tokyo for summer intern, he was Taiwanese and out to family...  like me. He was the hottest guy in there since the Japanese guys were so not my type. I went to Arty Fauty with the korean guy, and it was fun! There were few guys hit on me but I didn't tolerate my standard! hehe.

Saturday, Fair was still tired, so I went to Odaiba by myself, it turned out not so good since the weather was not great... too much cloud and rain a bit and too damn hot! I had a Chirashi for lunch and then went up to Fuji TV building. After that, I went to check out Shimbashi area and then took Fair out to Harajuku again. And now we started to see people in the traditional dress (Kimono) all over the place.. and they looked so cool since they are so fashion. All the ladies did their hair, eyes, did the colors, nails, shoes... everything.. girls in the US just couldn't compare. They all looked like Mariah Carey on the red carpet!.. in a Kimono!.. nice!

After Harajuku, we went to Senso Ji in Asakusa area. The closer we get to the temple, there were more and more people in tranditional dress... under the subway. When we got there we found out that there was a kindn of festival... People came to see the fireworks and there were tons of people sellings stuffs along the street.. just like the temple festival in Thailand. We saw a lot of Mariah Carey in Kimono.. Some of them dressed like in the movie "Kill Bill".. haha We were so lucky to be there on such a special occasion....

The street entering to the temple was amazing, full of stuffs to eat! On the street fair, we got to eat Okonomiyaki, takoyaki, stream corns from the stick... etc... they were all awesome! We took the subway back to Shinjuku and saw a lot of Mariah Carey as in the picture below....

As when I was back to the hotel, I hurried out again to meet the korean guy I met a night before. We were about to go to the party far away.. but then I decided to not go to that party but stay in the Shinjuku Ni-Chome area. Then I met this guy Jon in the bar came to ask whether I was on the line but I wasn't. He was sooo my type... Chelsea type, bubble chest bubble butt.. bubble everywhere. As when we went to Arty Fauty, Jon said hi to me again and we ended up the night together. His apartment was in Shibuya. I had a wonderful night with him... no need for detail! hehe. He walked me to the station in the morning and kiss goodbye!.. It was one of the perfect trick! Hehe.

I went back to have breakfast with Fair at the hotel, then we took Shinkansen to Kyoto. The first temple we went was Kinkakuji. It took quite a while to go from place to place since mostly we had to take the bus, and it wasnt so cheap too....

The Second temple we went was Kiyomizu-Dera, since we had just one night in Kyoto, I decided to pick only the 2 most famous ones to go on that Sunday and another one I thought very special to go the next day. We had to walk up the moutain to get into this temple Kiyamizu. It was first built longer than 1000 years ago and it is on the cliff. The present building was built about 400 years ago.. still very old! This temple is so popular that there always a lot of tourists visiting all year round. It was so lucky for us that we went there in the evening right before they closed and it was July that the sunset at 8PM in Japan. Hence, there were not many people there.... and it was lovely and romantic!

As we walked down the hill out from the temple, the street was old and all traditional looked. The sun was about to set and it was so beautiful. He had dinner at the Kyoto train station. It was quite expensive... I would say I felt that everything is Kyoto was more expensive than Osaka or even Tokyo.

Fushimi Inari Taisha

Next morning, we went to Fushimi Inari Taisha in the southeast outskirt of Kyoto on the way to Nara. This is a shrine (another kind of temple, for another type of buddism I supposed), and it was one of the most beautiful one I have ever seen. There were tousands tousands of these orange gates that lead you to a big gate.  They lined like a labirynth. Actually there are total of 30000 Inari Shrines. This shrine was dedicated to the gods of rice and sake by the Hata family in 8th century. I knew after came back from the trip the this shrine was featured in the movie "the memoir of geisha".. This one was really worth going! It's a really interesting place for hiking.. I felt like we were walking on the way up to the heaven... except that we didnt have enough time to walk all the way to the top.. so we only went to the 2nd level-heaven...

The entire complex, consisting of 5 shrines, sprawls across the wooded slopes of Inari-yama. The pathway wanders 4km up the moutain and is lined iwth hundreds of red torii. There were also dozens of stone foxes. The fox is considerd the messenger of Inari, the god of cerial grains. The Japanese traditionally see the fox as a sacred, somewhat mysterious figure capable of "possessing" humans. The key often seen in the fox's mouth is for the rice granary.

After the most beautiful temple of the trip, we headed back to the station to go back to Tokyo. This time, we stayed in the Ueno area, since it was gonna be our last night of the trip and so we stayed in this Kinuya Hotel for the reason that it was just across the street from the Keisei train to Narita airport. We weren't so tired that afternoon, so we went to Akihabara area for some shopping and checking the weird stuffs. I bought a bunch of airplane plastic models and painting equipments and airbrush. We had dinner at the mary-goes-round sushi place in the area. Later that evening, we went back to Senso-Ji again to shop for some severnoirs and Japanese desserts. We did walk back to Ueno and walk around til late since it was the last night. I met a really cute young shiba in the pet store!... hehehe.. I decided to go to 24 Kaikan again.. but to the different one in Ueno area. It turned out it was kindna far from the hotel. The place was supposed to be for bigger guys..but it turned out that 'big' is japanese meaning was different from my new york meaning.. heheheh lol.... so I spent sometimes work out and went back at just a bit after midnight.... I bought a cup-miso soup with clams in it... it was awesome awesome!.. My god, I cant believe how best this country is for food!

Next morning, Fair left early and I spent the last day going everywhere.. I went to Akihabara again to buy some stuff I thought I need more for the model airplanes. Then I went to take some walk in the Shibuya area... And as everybody know how far Narita Airport is!.. so I hurry back to the hotel a bit after noon and went to the airport.... Now.. it's the end of the wonderful trip!.. I was ready to face with the funding problem at school... Who knows how it's gona turn out? even now I don't know.... Well, the Reverend Mother said "When the lord closes a door, somewhere he opens a window!"

NewYorkCity, Sept 05-Winter 05/06

I spent August and September dating with my city, New York.... stayed late at night and sleep til noon. Hence the photo I got were mostly the night ones known as "New York Lights"

We went to Tao for Chris's birthday.. I think I go to Tao too many times now.. But that summer night was beautiful,,, we drove along 49th st. from Park Ave. to 8th Ave. passed through Rockefeller Center.. it was so beautiful!.. We ended up going to Hudson Bar at Hudson Hotel again.... one drink costed like $14....

It was kindna empty that night because we went early... However I went back to Hudson bar again the last time this summer (2006), it changes, they allow only hotel guest and have dress code!.. Silly... the pic on the right was the Shabu Shabu I had at Tao.

Few days after that, I went to the lounge on the top of Gansvoort hotel to have some drink with my Malaysian friend, Tien. The view of Hudson river was spectagcular. We can see the Soho House (below left) that has the swimming pool on the top but only open for the member only. This was when Samantha tried to get in in Sex and the City Season 6. The picture on the below right is the swimming pool on the top of Gansvoort hotel.. sitting by the pool  and had drink.. it was a fab-life.

Back in July, I threw a birthday party for Mhu at Brasserie on 53rd between Park and Lex Ave.(There are so many place in NYC name Brasserie) It was a french seafood restaurant. The party includes Mhu, theo, Shelly and her husband, Um and Nae, and myself. We had rasberry chanpange, it was so fabulous!  We spent $550 on that meal. The restaurant was fabulous and modern designed. It was also featured in Sex and the City Season 6 right before Carry went to Paris... known as last supper...

One day I had a chance to ride a bike with Theo down from our house (39th and 3rd) down to South street seaport and Battery park. On the way up, we stopped by Issey Miyaki on Hudson St in Tribecca near JFK Jr house. The interior isdesign by Frank O'Gehry.. Well from the pictures below, if you are an architect you can tell the designer....

When Mhu came down from Boston one time, we stayed in the Millinium Hotel near United Nation Building and the view was awesome as in the picture below (left)

The picture in the middle was the view from Empire State Building and the right one was from Rainbow Room on the top of rockefeller center. I brought these 2 pictures to compare the view.. How's that..

Finally, the last week in New York before moving to Seattle I went to Alergria party at Crobar for the first time. As everybody knows that Alegria party is the best gay party in the US... it was really exciting to me as a first time (now I think the alegria party on gay pride is the best) I went with Ake and Tae and party til 8AM. It was fun!

last week before I left New York for Seattle, on Labour day, I went to Central park to roll the boat with my friend Tien. The whether was pretty cool and nice, we did lots of activities in the park.. it was a nice holiday

Later that day we went to dine in East Village. The Japanese yakiniku place called "Gyu Kaku" It became one of my favourite restaurants in town... the quality is very good but it was not so Japanese, they charge everything!

Seattle and Vancouver

After I moved to Seattle I have about 3 weeks before school started, so i decided to go to Canada for the first time. I took a shuttle bus for $36 as student price plus special discount for the weekend trip to Vancouver. The nigth scene is OK, asian food is nice compare to Seattle (not as good as NYC of course), and it is very liberal but people are not as agressive as new yorkers. I went to talk over the Standley Park on the north of downtown Vancouver, it was really nice relaxing place that we can see the view of downtown (below right). The last friday before school start I took the bus to Queen Ann area to see the view of sunset and the city with Mt Rainair in the background (below Left).

In october, Mhu came to visit me and stay for a week. But she was so busy with her work so we spent only weekend together.. shopping and party.. it was nice enough. i was kindna enjoy the life in Seattle... the city was more like a city compare to Atlanta... She took some nude pics for me too... hehehe but i had to censor them... so here are the rest:

Thanksgiving 2005

I couldn't wait to go back to NYC again.. it's been 3 months! I didnt have much money at the time, so I decided to use the millage for a free ticket. I flew first class on NWA 757-300 and then DC-9-32 via MSP to EWR. I arrived on the Thanksgiving day. Tien, my malaysian friend from NJ picked me up and we went to dine in Manhattan. They city was quite died except the time sq. area.

The next day was one of the happiest day in my life, I dont know why but I always like to think about that day. Maybe becuase I missed new york so much and was so happy to done new york things again. It is also known as the day of the worst drunk in my life too. I woke up in NJ and went shopping in Edison area as it's the next day after thanksgiving. I bought a chocolate for Theo as I known he was kindna mad at me about the computer stuff and because of Chris tried to make him feel bad about me and didnt see the good thing/time I'd done.I took the NJ transit to Manhattan and met Chris and Theo on 6th and 23.. that afternoon I went shopping on 5th Ave and saw the new abercrombie store on 57th St. I found the model guy "Matt Ratliff" there, I was so excited since he's so hot and ask him for a picture (below right). I supposed to meet Mhu and go to my high school friend party in Brooklyn but she was late, so I went by myself. My high school friends was Por (Prach), Tik (Parnuwat) and Jark and his GF. I had Shabu Shabu and it was fun.. I hadnt met them for forever! and there were a lot of catch up! I drink a lot of sake and was kindna drunk. After the party I share a cab with Jark to come to East village and I continue to time sq. hotel to meet Mhu. We went down to G-bar to meet Kevin... as usual.. I had a lot of fun! being back to chelsea balloon boys society.. hot people walking along 8 Ave. .. that was part of the fun.. to see those stuff again after a while. I felt it was really a fabulous day:being in new york and went from parties to another and full of hot boys.. I had few long island iceteas and we went up to the Web. I came up with a new style: wearing abercrombie jacket but nothing inside (supposed to be sexy).. that seems to attracted some people.... of course, it's the web... lots of asian boys were there. Mhu was kindna abandon me but I was so happy to be back in new york again and I drank even few more long island. I was totally drunk! and felt unconcious until I knew that I threw up! Geez... "supposed to be sexy" turned to be "supposed to be nasty"! As I always said that being in NYC, no matter how drunk you are if you are able to drag yourself to the street and raise your hand, the cab willcome over and you're able to go home safe. But there were exception!.. when you smell like shit!.. So that night I smelt like shit, the first cab didnt wanna take mebut the second did, I went back to the hotel and found out after wash up my shit that my wallet seemed to be gone too. Mhu help me call the police and get it back! New york is very safe that I get it back in an hour!.. and I had a terrible headache going ot bed.. and it's the end of my fabulous day.

X Mas 2005

I felt so lonely and bored with the dating situation in Seattle just a week after the break. So I changed my flight to leave early and stopped by Atlanta to visited friends. My visit surprised a lot of friends since I never told them before. Everybody came out to meet me though. Lee, Fendi, etc. I stayed with Rich for 4 nights. X mas times always make me feel happy. I got a chance to meet Fu again, we talked a lot and went to see Brokeback Mountain together. I would say this new year is less exciting compare to few years before, especially a year before when everybody was there together in NYC. I left for NYC on 27th and met Por, my college friend, and Mhu. We had 2 days together, walk along the city and catch up. We met a really hot guy working for abercrombie (below middle)! I spent the night party and party! again! Rich and his friend Ian share the apartment with me. The reason why it was less fun becuase Mhu was so crazy with her guy and went away, sacrificed herself for a guy that never gonna love her back. (I dont get why girls can never see it and never even know what their feelings are) and also Rich was kindna crazy with the guy who would never love him back too, Chris and Theo would choose sex over friends, so I mostly was with Ake and Ian. I dont get this people that they can throw away their friend on such a fun day like new year eve to be with someone who will play no role in their lives!... huh  Anyway, we went to count down at Roxy and the night after that to Pacha. I met a hot porn star there (the one in puma tank) Anyway, it's still much fun becuase it's new york.

February 2006

Early in the month I went to San Diego but nothing was memorable.. just that my wallet was stolen by a mexican trick! huh. Every year I always go to new york again on Feb or March and with the same reason:"cheap ticket". I chose American Airlines this time because I liked to see the new terminal at JFK airport even if it 's undone. I could clearly see Mt Rainair as we flew pass by on the wat to New York. My hand was full of works and so I brought some work to do over the trip. The first evening, I went to see the opera "La Traviata" at the main hall of Lincoln Center with Ake and went to Splash after. The opera was not quite impressive... Friday and Saturday was quite usual: going to the web and Roxy and shopping during the day. I got to meet another model at abercrombie store (below right). It was very cold that day.. about 10F..

Sunday night we all went to another Alegria party at Crobar. Ake and Tae was there as well and we took pics together (below right) as three thai gals hehehe. I did 'e' for the first time... it was nothing so special... but guys are as hot as always!

After this trip, my mom came to visited me in Seattle in March and we went to Vancouver together. I took her to Purr, a hot gay bar in town and we had a lot of time together. Alfred's parents was coming as well so we planned a family to go visit the Boeing plant in Everett along with another cute friend, Nathan. Richard also came to visit me in May and went o Vancouver again and we had great fun there partying til 6 AM.

NYC gay pride 2006

I really looked forward to come back to new york again after 4 months! it's been too long! And wow I had a really wonderful time. I could say it's the best party time in my life so far!.. even 2005 gay pride was my first time gay pride experience in new york, but there were something to make this time even more special! In 2005, I had Mhu as my fag hag which supposted to be fun but she was kindna blew me off with her craziness of work, redsox, etc. This year I worried it wouldnt be good becuase I am all alone without female friends. I arrived at EWR by red-eye flight from SCL by 737-700 with a winglet at 5.45AM. I hang in Unoin sq. to watch the dog field for a while til I met Ake and get to the apartment. I met a guy who was an american navy in Okinawa, we hang and had a good time! and later that day I met a hot asian boys from Toronto at the Web. I met him at Roxy on Sat night and he invited me for a 3 sum. It was funny that new york people are so direct (like me), you know just say "do you wanna have 3 sum?" and that's it.

Sunday was a gay pride day and the weather was not that great compare to 2005, so I dont wanna put some pics in here cuz it's not comparable to 2005 in term of picture quality. After the parade was done Ake left me to go home with his new BF. They are just together for a month and I felt he was kindna excited. Anyway, I went to the Pier Dance by myself. I felt scared that I would be lonely... But I am a new yorker after all! it should be fine, I thought I would found people I know anyway. I went in and not many people I know was there. I stay with my friend from LA, Pei most of the first hour. After that there was this hot Singapore guy from HongKong came to talk to me and we started dancing together. all the guys in his group are cute.  Minutes after that I found myself kissing him. We had a lovely time there. Most of the party like that, I always spend sometimes look at hot guys or even try to get pictures but it turned out that there were people came to us to ask for our picture and they said 2 asians together is hot! Actually we both were not a sticky rice, we just like everything... that hot. The music was sooo my style... it was new york music and more of the queeny style compare to Allergria party. At one point when I went to the back of the Pier to the bathroom. He found me and we had a private romantic time together! We kissed like.. all the time and the new york skyline as a background. Cant be more romantic than that! It was one of the most romantic and happiest moment in my life! I 'm not puttin ghis pics in here cuz it doesnt look good compare with the real person. After that Jenifer Lopez showed up to surprise us all! she sang 4-5 songs and one of them was "waiting for tonight" which was my favourite song... you know people always think about the moment they remember from the song and that song was when I started coming out and go party as a gay man for the first time.. so I like it. And I have this hot singapore guy in my arms too when she sing "waiting for tonight, when you would be here in my arms"..... it was the best party time in my life! the best of the best!.. it's new york! the magic city!

After the Pier dance (above left), we all went to Allergria party at Crobar! I could say that it's the best of the best! it's the best of all the Allegria Party all around the year! The theme of the night was "Strong men", so it was sooo for me. They have these hot handsome huge muscle men came to flex their muscle! and I couldnt take my eyes off them! I met friends in this party more than the Pier dance. Bert provided me the 'e' and this time I took te whole thing! An hour after I arrived, around 2 AM, the guy "Kay" showed up again and he never left me. We stayed together and kissed even more! and people really took pictures of us.. all the time! I felt like I was top of the heep, queen of the night, whatever.. I am such an attention whore and I reallt got lots of attentions! except I was only with the guy.... Kay, he was such a good kisser and so do I. I could say I kissed him that night more than I ever kiss Eddy, my last ex, for the whole relationship (since he doesn't like to do french kiss... how is that?). We both highed so we kissed and danced at the same time.. until 8 AM and it was the best!

At around 6 AM, the muscle boys came out to flex again, this time they paint themselves silver!... it was so so so sexy! I left around 8AM with the guy Kay, but we didnt got a chance to have things more than just kissing cuz he's from Hong Kong and share the apartment with a bunch of friends. I walked him back to his apartment on 8Ave and 28th St. with one of his friend as a 3rd wheel. We did french kiss for the last time at that coner in front of the cab before I head back home! And it's the end of my bes party time night! Lucky that we didnt have sex, so I would remember it as the most romantic moment in my life!

July & August 2005

After gay Pride in June, I started to work regularly at the Thai restaurant. However, I got the 3rd and 4th of July off and went on sailing with Theo, Joe, and their friends. We sailed out from New Jersey pass through Battery Park, Liberty Island, and along the east river up to LGA Airport and out to the open sea north of Long Island. I fried shrimp tempura and did miso soup and brought to the boat so I at least had Japanese food to eat. Even it was hot like hell in Manhattan, out off the ocean, it was cool! I felt relaxed to be out to the ocean. I always love being on the boat. I talked on the phone with Chai, Mhu, and Fu to tell them how exciting it was! That was almost the last time I ever talked to Chai.. :(  On the way along Connecticut (I dont even know how to spell it... I couldnt careless...), people shot the fireworks. We watch the fireworks from the boat while the sun was setting. It was so romantic, but I was kindna over my last relationship and turned cynical at the time... so I thought.. fuck it! I can just be romantic with myself!... (I am still a romantic guy). We docked at Oyster Bay and grilled the hamburger and hotdog.... it was a nice and romactic meal....

The next day, we got off from the boat and took the LIRR train back to manhattan. Later that day we went to 4th of July party at Joe's house in Queen and walked over to the east river to see the fireworks. I took some pics but I am not a big fan for fireworks, so I am not putting in here.

July 11th was Mhu birthday party, I threw a party for her at Brasserie on 53th st between Park and Lex. Ave. It was a french seafood. Theo, Shelly and her husband, Mhu and I, and Um and Nae were there. It was fun.. and we has Rasberry champange.. nice!.. we spent $550 on the meal hehehehe... I will post the pics on the next weblog.

After working for a while, I deceded to stop becuase I dont want to spend the summer in NYC with the drama in the Thai restaurant and plus most places are slow becus New Yorkers like to go to Hamptons.. so the city is not so packed compare to other months. So, I planned to just spend sometimes playing piano and work out. I never wanted to leave Manhattan, however Chris invited us to go stay the weekend at his place and go to the beach house in Jersey Shore.. I had a Manhattan sick!.. just cant leave the island.. :P We went to the nude beach, it was fun!

Since I hadnt been on the plane for few months.. I thought I should fly somewhere, so I thought about visiting my friend Mark in Dayton because if I moved to the west coast, I would only come back to just New York or Boston in the east coast.. so I took this chance to go to Ohio for the second time. My flight (EWR-PHL 20 mins, very short) stopped by Philladelphia for 4 hours. So I went in to sightseeing a bit. We drove from Dayton to Cincinnati for the baseball game and went to Kentucky a bit.

The pic on the left is the main street in Philadelphis. The pic on the far right is the art museum of Cincinnati. The next day, we went to the Air force museum, since Dayton is the birth of the world aviation (Wright Brother), so they kindna make this museum huge and contain a lot of historic airplane. It's worth coming here!

The pic in the middle was the hot guy in Philadelphia. The pic on the far right was a hot cop in Kentucky.

I spent sometimes in August with my new Thai friend, Same. We went to do New York things together including DavidBarton Gym...... last night before he went back to Bangkok, we went to Splashfor the appearance of my favourite bodybuilder, Zeb Atlas. He was real hot! with a huge arms

The guy in the left pic was the doorman at Splash over 2004-2005 but I dont see him anymore. He is the HOTTEST guy.. ever!, in my opinoin!.. Blond hair, blue eyes, smooth and huge! Perfect body! Is he from Chicago?, I dont know. The second pic was the dancer in Roxy on the gay pride weekend.

Oh I have a thing for blond guys...
